BARAADSAR LAKE TREK
The Baraadsar Lake is a holy lake in the Western Garhwal Himalayas that lies on the border of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, tucked between the Rupin and Supin valleys. The trail to Baradsaar Lake winds through scenic meadows, brown oak and pine trees, large clearings with spectacular mountain views, and finally over a ridge that divides the Rupin and Supin valleys, providing excellent panoramic views. This bowl-shaped high-altitude Baraadsar Lake is tucked away within a huge cauldron, with high ridges converging from all sides, making it one of the least explored treks in the area. It’s a one-of-a-kind trek because the ultimate thrill is a satisfying summit drive to hit the pool. This trek is designed for hikers who have prior hiking experience. Due to a series of ascents, this moderate-level trek demands a decent level of fitness. Trek this off-the-beaten-path trail to see unimaginable vistas and breathtaking scenery.
